March 2021, AFCC- The Fundamentals of Conducting Child Custody Evaluations
Ongoing; Diversity Equity and Inclusion training and group facilitation.

I am a clinical social worker, licensed in both Oregon and Washington. Since 2009 I have worked directly
with children and families in conflict. I worked for 14 years in Child Welfare. Through this work I
developed expertise in interviewing, engagement, courtroom testimony, legal documentation and
successfully supporting resistant individuals. In that time, it was evident that intervening with and
supporting families in high conflict, is likely to prevent the cycle of abuse and engagement with the
system for many children.
My combined training, experience and education assure I have the skills to serve families as an excellent
evaluator and clinical social worker. I am able to complete neutral, comprehensive evaluations in a
timely manner. In addition, I am able to offer family specific services as determined by individual need. I
value being of service to families in high conflict or experiencing complex family system disruption.
As a clinical social worker I provide a strength based, solution focused approach to assure that children’s
best interest and well-being are supported and advocated for.
I am a lifelong Oregonian, residing in Portland for the last 10 years. My partner and I have two children,
we love to explore this beautiful state we live in during every season. I love to experience the Portland
food scene, as well as cook for family and friends.
I am a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC). I adhere to the National
Association of Social Workers (NASW) ethics and standards.
I am committed to striving for competency in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. I am committed to being
anti-racist, and open to feedback when I am not. It is a value of mine to respect the presence of
differences that may include race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, nationality,
socioeconomic status, language, ability, age or political perspective.
